About the event
In this class, you'll learn when peak harvest times are, how to harvest crops properly, and handle produce to maintain its freshness and flavor. We'll explore several methods for storing and preserving your harvest, including freezing, drying, fermenting, pickling, and canning. You'll also learn the basics of seed saving, season extension, cover cropping, and composting, helping you return nutrients to the soil and complete the regenerative gardening cycle.
